Venues
Since the summer academy will take place during school holidays, fortunately their are enough buildings and rooms available for teaching and practicing. They are all in walking distance from each other.
The concert hall (Festhalle)
The opening and the final concert will thake place here.
Usually, this is the venue for the viola master class.
Museum im Bock
Here - right in the center of the city - we will all meet for the offical welcome event scheduled on the first day of theaching. In addition, this is the venue for the cello master class.
Das Georg-Schneider Haus
You will find at the place of the adult education center ("Volkshochschule") and music school enough rooms to parctice as much as you want. Due to the holiday period, it is basically free for us to use. The address is Bahnhofstraße 10.
